The Cat in the Hat at the Magik

As a mom and a teacher, I’m a Dr. Seuss fan. I have nearly every Dr. Seuss book and recently made my daughter, per request, green eggs and ham. We’re also fans of The Magik Theatre, so we were super excited to hear the show is coming soon.
The Magik Theatre’s latest production of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat begins February 1 and runs through March 2, 2019The show travels to the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre from March 9 through March 16. This is a event for families with children ages 3-7, but truly for all ages.
To kick off the production, A Moxie Mom is offering a special invitation– a complimentary family four pack of tickets — to attend the opening night performance on Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at The Magik Theatre downtown in Hemisfair. It is also educators night, and hardworking teachers can attend the performance free of charge (1 FREE ticket/per educator). To reserve your free ticket, call the box office at 210.227.2751.
A bit about the production:
The National Theatre’s adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat returns to the Magik stage. Not a word has been touched or added to Dr. Seuss’ classic, ensuring that anyone who’s read the story will find themselves transported into the world they’ve always imagined. From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure… but what will mum find when she gets home…?

Giveaway: A Moxie Mom is giving away a family four pack of tickets to attend the opening night performance on Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at The Magik Theatre.
